# Create a grid

Go to **Grids** → **New Grid** and choose how to start.

* **Blank Grid** starts you from scratch, ready to add columns.
* **Import from File** uploads a CSV or Excel file. QX detects the columns, you tick the ones you want, and the data lands ready for enrichment columns alongside.
* **Start with a Template** browses public grids shared by the community. Open one and click **Import to My Workspace** to copy it, then plug in your own data.

Name the grid by clicking its title in the top bar. Sheets live in the tab bar at the bottom, where you can add, rename, or delete them, and new rows are added from the footer. To bring in more data later, see [Import and export](/grids/import-and-export).

You can also ask an agent in [chat](/agents/chat) to create a grid, clone an existing one as a template, and fill it with rows. It needs [Workspace Access](/agents/persistent-workspace), and setting up enrichment columns stays here in the grid editor.
